Food and Drinks
There is a lovely cafe near the entrance to Pamukkale which is called Gurme Cafe. They have amazing service, great food and plenty of ventilation during the hot weather seasons. I really recomend this place. The owners were so kind and even gave us a free magnet as a thank you gift, as well as tips for going into Pamukkale.
Quick Tips
Bring swim shoes so you can walk on the travertines because normal shoes are not allowed and the ground is hard and painful to walk on barefoot. Make sure you have swim shoes for children.
Wear hats and protective covering to shield yourself from the sun. The sun at Pamukkale is extremely hot since it is a hilltop.
For elderly and those who need assistance with walking, they have accessible carts for a small fee which can take you around the site.
The Roman and Cleopatra pools are beautiful but swim shoes may not be allowed here. You cannot bring your phones or any additional items in the pools. Lockers are available for you to put your things inside, with a returnable deposit.
The ticket price is discounted with Muzekart, and if you have a turkish residency or citizenship.
